[It's definitely better, Ozymandias can give him that much credit. But the passion and seduction are missing.

While Hijikata has his guard down, Ozymandias flips the situation so that he can have Hijikata between himself and the wall. A demonstration probably worked better than anything else, here.

He puts a hand under Hijikata's chin, lifting it up.]

Hijikata... be mine, and I will show you what pleasure truly feels like.

[Yes, he's acting, but his voice is full of passion and seductive intent. Of course, it could probably be taken wrongly since he gave him no warning, but he explains himself rather quickly.]

[Hijikata had just managed to cool down, but Ozymandias' move immediately gets him flushed again. He eyes dart sideways, avoiding the pharaoh's, while his hands ball into fists - not in anger, just out of stress and because he doesn't know how to deal with the flusterment he feels.]

How-- how can you just say things like that? I mean... I'm not...

[He doesn't think he has the right to ask anyone to be his. Why should anybody choose him when he'll always choose his sword and his bushido over them in the end? He and the ones he's loved enjoyed each other's companionship, certainly, but only as a temporary happiness. (Mostly. He does keep going back to Prismatica.)

As for the pleasure... he isn't unskilled when it comes to sex, but he generally doesn't assume that anyone he's intimate with may not have had more passionate experiences beforehand.

[Himself because of the mortification that comes with opening himself up like this, and Ozymandias because this is most likely going to take a long, long time. (He'll be surprised, in hindsight, at how patient the godly pharaoh can be.)]

[This man just says the damndest things!! Why does he have such high expectations of Hijikata?! (But of course, now he won't back down, too stubborn to admit defeat... ugh, why can Ozymandias play him like a fiddle?!)

Having space to move again, he steps away from the wall, gathering his wits and decorum to head back out into society. He needs to recover from this encounter before he can tackle any more faux-seduction attempts!]

[There's a moment of silence as he fumbles over how to say goodbye - his relationship with Ozymandias is such a mess that he doesn't know whether to shake his hand or just nod his head at him or what -, and in the end he gives him a sloppy little mock salute, then turns around and marches off while feeling his face heat up. This stupid sexy pharaoh!!]
